I know this because I am just like you with a few differences in my story. My story is one of abuse and neglect which left me in a hot mess! BUT God got ahold of me and redeemed my life.
I know that I know that I know that He is able to redeem your life as well. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or what’s been done to you—God is in the business of setting us free and revealing to us how He sees us. I am sharing my journey from no identity, living as a victim with tremendous fear, low self-esteem, and self-medicating—to finding out that I have value just because of Who made me, there is a reason for my life and I have a bright future.

Below are six areas I had to address/learn about in order to get a good understanding of who I am. You can progress with me through all six or jump straight to the area you need right now. But trust me, all six areas are essential.
who am I?
My name is Linda. My childhood was wrought with neglect, dysfunction, and abuse exasperated by moving several times. My emotional needs were not met. The lack of nurturing and security bound me and my life in tremendous fear. Through repeated experiences of rejection, trauma, and betrayal, I was completely shut down and a wallflower by age 30.
That’s when God took me on a journey of relearning who He was and finding out who I am — my identity. The process wasn’t fast and each day is still an opportunity for growth, but I have found tremendous freedom and healing from self-doubt, self-pity, rejection, trauma, and fear. It is my hope, that I can meet you on your journey and help encourage you in the process of discovering your true identity.

I’ve laid this website out in a progressive approach to help you experience the life, love, hope and destiny that God has for you. But nobody’s journey is a straight line. Feel free to read the sections that are speaking to you today. Go back later and read the portions you’ve skipped. Feel free to zig-zag your way through this content. It’s all good stuff. All of it has helped me find healing, hope, peace, acceptance and an understanding of who I am and who I was created to be. My wish is that this website will help you on your journey as well.
